Managing Editor
Managing Editor shall be responsible for completion of an order from Interview to Signed Script, Production Completion and Online Posting.
Assignment
- Order is booked when contract and deposit payment is received at OVL
- Responsibility for the order is promptly assigned to a Managing Editors.
- Sales Manager leaves a copy of the Questionnaire with the customer.
- Managing Editor is responsible for Questionnaire completion and customer sign-off.
- Interview
- Managing Editor promptly makes appointment to Interview the customer
- Deliverables from the Interview with the customer consists of:
-completed questionnaire (with comments reflecting client’s expectations)
-audio tape of the interview
- Production Agreement is signed (including preparation, schedule commitments).
- Managing Editor leaves copies of Model Release forms with the customer.
- Managing Editor will be responsible for writing the script.
- Managing Editor will get correct phonetic pronunciations for all names (including street names, names of dishes, chef names etc)
- Schedule Videographer using production agreement, questionnaire and signed script.
2. Production Completion
- Video shoot is produced by professional Videographer with own equipment.
- Managing editor accompanies Videographer (If same person, arranges for assistant.)
- Managing Editor obtains Model Release signatures from all participants.
Video Editing
- At discretion of managing Editor, subject to Video Quality Procedures.
- Videographers arranges for professional voice-over and suitable licensed music.
- Video Editing is expected to be completed within two weeks.
3. Production Dates to be Posted on MSN Company Calendar
- Insert all production dates i.e..client interview, video shoot, voice over and completion date directly onto the company msn calendar.
4. Online Posting
- Managing Editor upload database information to Webmaster.
5.Webmaster posts videos, virtual tours and logos within one day. |
